Hi it's me...

I'll admit it's not such a great picture, but being the one who always takes the pictures I've got to live with what gets taken... Okay, more about me--I guess I'll start with my childhood. I was born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada in the summer of '69. I had an older brother Kevin. My parents decided when I was 3 they were going to open their own store in Collingwood, Ontario

This was called Kari Scott Variety. The picture doesn't do it justice, but hey I was only 7 when I took that picture. After my dad got tired of the store we moved into a solar home that my dad built. Then they decided they wanted to own their own place of business again, so we bought Silver Lake Motel in Maberly, Ontario. The lack of finances and stress caused my parents to sell the motel and move back to our roots in Vineland, Ontario. During the process dad decided he didn't wish to be with us anymore so we were on our own. Mom decided she felt more at home in Collingwood, so we headed back. That started our venture of moving everytime the rent went up. I went to various public schools, but only one high school C.C.I
I had a blast there. It was between Gr.12 and Gr.13 that I met my husband Brad. An account of our meeting is on the Brad and Kari page. After graduation I moved down south to St. Catharines. The city I was born in. I attended Brock University . I completed my first year and Brad and I were married that summer, 1989. A wedding picture is on the Brad and Kari page. After my second year, during exams, I decided I wanted a baby. It didn't take long and I was expecting in Dec. 1990. In Oct. we took a little holiday to Calgary, AB. We decided it was great and thought about moving there. Brad wrote down names and numbers out of yellow pages and when we got back home he sent out resumes. Justine Nicole was born on Dec. 18, 1990
This is when she is about 7 months.

In April Brad was hired at a Dealership in Calgary and he was gone. He left me to pack up and sell the house---wow!! I guess I knew I wouldn't be finishing my schooling unless I could transfer my credits. Come June I couldn't stand being there anymore alone, so I moved and we left the house empty trusting the Realtor to sell it quickly. Well... We moved into a little basement suite and I promptly decided it was time to try for a sibling for Justine. I was quickly expecting #2 in April. In the meantime the Realtor did sell our house which relieve some stress, and I found out that I couldn't really transfer my credits without a lot of repeating so I dropped the idea. Time passed and we felt with #2 coming we should buy our own home. We moved into 433 Big Springs Dr. in Airdrie, Alberta. It was a lovely house.

We made several friends in the neighbourhood and was getting used to life there. Rachel Victoria was born 2 weeks late on May 4, 1992, which added a little curve in our life. We went from a happy three to a fabulous four.
